Portfolios are a performance based assessment that documents the progress that a child has made personally and academically. It is a way to look back on the many experiences that have shaped the child and their education.
We believe that every child should have an opportunity to create their own personal roadmap of their educational journey. How did they meet that learning goal or standard? Let's check their portfolio! Forget standardization! We believe in customization!
The best is when your child can go through it with you and explain the pictures, projects, and even concepts they learned as this portfolio building is also part of the learning process! Priceless memories that we will help you build!
Homeschool Annual Evaluations

M.E.E.T. & Mentor has developed their own method of learning and looking to share it with you!
After completing a learning profile and really understanding the child's passion, how they learn best, what experiences they have been exposed to, and more, we are now able to provide you with a curriculum that suits their needs. You may be using one currently in a home education program that you love, but looking to personalize it for your child and their interests. We help with this. Your child may be attending a public school and getting a state curriculum that you'd like to provide for some more enrichment at home. We help to create the best learning program for your child to help them LOVE learning!
This is a time where a mentor meets with the child to get to know who they are. In our holistic approach to learning, here is where we find out what the child is passionate about, what they dislike, and through conversation and questionnaires, the mentor is able to listen, observe, and gain insight into the inner workings of the child's heart and mind. Academic samples are also taken to gather where the child is at and where we need to take them on their learning journey.
At the conclusion of the profile, a summary and recommendations are given either verbally, in a one page summary, or a full written narrative. This would depend on the needs of the family and best discussed prior to the profile.
All learners enrolled in our ENRICH Program must have a learning profile on file before entering a learning community.
**This is not a psychological evaluation, as our mentors are professional educators, rather than psychologists. However, with background in psychology and education, as well as experience in the classroom, we are qualified to present a "learning opinion and option" for your child.
